You are a Temple

You are a temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Adapted from 1 Cor 3:16

The spirit of the Lord God is upon you
Because the Lord has anointed you.

The Spirit has come:
To bring glad tidings to you.
To heal you when you are brokenhearted.
To proclaim liberty, and your release from the prison of sin.

The Spirit has come to give you:
A crown instead of ashes,
Oil of gladness in place of mourning,
A glorious mantle instead of a listless spirit.

You will be called an oak of justice,
Planted by the Lord to show His glory.
You shall rebuild ruins, and restore the ruined cities.

In your God is the joy of your soul;
For God has clothed you with a robe of salvation and
Wrapped you in a mantle of justice.
